About Our Founder
Vinny Cherry, currently a Mount St. Mary's University senior, founded Vinny's Kids in early 2004 at age 14. He was inspired to collect book, games and toys for hospitalized children after recollecting the lack of activities available during his own hospital experience seven years earlier. As Vinny grew and matured, so did his "little project," which is now a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity.

Vinny is an actively involved board member and participates in a hands-on fashion in every aspect of Vinny's Kids, Inc.

Vinny is a Division I college athlete participating on Mount St. Mary's varsity cross-country and track teams.
